John Christensen started his business 28 years ago as an enterprising teenager. Christensen's has evolved from a small neighborhood garage to Northern California's largest tack shop. With John's expertise and guidance, the current staff is committed to customer service; all member's enjoy sharing their knowledge and love for the equine world. Christensen's multifaceted staff represents virtually all of the equestrian disciplines.

Spotlight on Staff Member - Leah Montalbano
Leah started her show career on the local "open" show circuit at the age of 12. She then progressed to the Quarter Horse Circuit taking Zipped thru Town to many "All Around" Awards with a Congress Novice Amateur All Around 1998 title. After selling Zip, she purchased Ebony Invitation, which has again proven to be a winning team. Leah is currently attending Chico State (and working at Christensen's) with a business degree her next big goal.
