Asprey Polo was founded in 1980’s, though previously known as Argosy.

Asprey has a long history in Polo having sponsored teams and creating trophies for prestigious polo tournaments. Asprey sponsored a 40 goal team in the Argentine Open in 1996, winning the Championship and reaching the final in 1997. The winning team consisted of Eduardo Heguy, Pepe Heguy, Nachi Heguy and Alejandro (Piki) Diaz-Alberdi.
