Pedro and Giacomina Fagliano started to work in the workshop located in Tambo Nuevo Street in 1892, and they steadily created the craftsmanship fame which spread throughout our country and the world. Their sons Antonio, Santiago, Pedro and José went on with their task. In 1924, Eduardo Alighieri arrived from Sicily, and he also contributed with his knowledge and experience.
Pedro’s son, Rodolfo, was born in 1929 and together with his two sons, Eduardo and Héctor, is nowadays running the business. They have specialized in shoe manufacturing, following the european traditions and an entirely handmade production, and also a special care of quality and detail.
Initially, Casa Fagliano manufactured shoes for simple customers and country people. Throughout the years, their customers have become polo players, famous actors, militars, kings and people from the nobility
