THE SADDLE PARTS
Tree: Base made of wood or similar material.
Pommel: The front part of the saddle.
Cantle: The back part of the saddle usually slighty raised making the rider feel more comfortable and secure.
Seat: In the middle of the pommel and cantle where the rider sits.
Stirrups: It's where the rider put his feet on, so he can take control of his gravity centre.
Flaps: It protects the rider's legs from the girth and also prevents sweating.
Girth or Cinch: It goes under the horse barrel. It can be made of nylon or leather. The Jumping girths are elastic,
helping the horse movements.
Padding Panels: The two soft cushions under the saddle seat.

POLO BUSINESS | MAKING A POLO MALLET
1.The canes are made of rattan, also known as manau. This natural stem grows in Asia: Borneo, Indonesia and Singapur
2. The selection of a good cane it s the most important thing in a Polo mallet. The selection of a good cane is crucial when making a  Polo mallet.
3. The Polo mallet is made from the root of the canes.
4. In the jungle the manau is about 18 metres long.
5. After the canes are cut, they clean it and left them to dry in the sun for some days, then the canes are put in an oven for about ten minutes.
6. A good bake determines the weight, consistency and flexibility of the mallets.
7. Some canes need manual straightening after the baking process.
8. The length of the mallets range from 48 to 54 inches.
9. When the cane is ready, it is time to attach the cigar.
10. The cigar is made of "Tipa" wood, a South American tree from Argentina , Uruguay , Brazil, and Paraguay .
11. The cigar, which is the head of the mallet, is about 220 grs. The complete mallet is about 500 grs.
12. The cigar and the cane have to be in balance like a Golf club.
13. Finally the grip , is where the mallet is held, and the size varies depending on the size of the hand.
14. Small pieces of wood can be attached as supplements according to the size of the hand.
